When boys turn five

Now that the Little Dude is 5 he has become a nipper.

On Sundays he can be seen running along the beach in his navy surf cap and red rashie.

Now that the Little Dude is 5 he is very confident at little athletics.

On Fridays he leaps into the long jump pit with energy and pride.

Now that the Little Dude is 5 he is getting ready for kindergarten.

A stash of second hand uniforms is building in his wardrobe.

Now that the Little Dude is 5 he is becoming much more confident.

He makes friends quickly and sometimes even talks to grown ups.

But best of all,

Now that the Little Dude has turned 5 he has had his great mates stay for a sleepover.

His best buddy and his older brother.

An afternoon of presents and cake and playing.

His favourite pasta for dinner.

A bath that holds 5 kids.

A movie.

And best friends sleeping on the floor of his room.

The best kind of party,
