Sometimes it's just too hard...

... to lay a full sized egg.

So one day one of our chickens laid a wee little egg instead.

After months of laying full sized eggs one of our hens delivered us this perfectly formed miniature one.  About a third the size of their normal lays.  So cute.  Such a delightful surprise.  And thankfully our hens egg was back to full size the following day.
